AEMEnergy has completed energy upgrades at its intelligent manufacturing center, where the rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system and C&I battery energy storage system (BESS) are now in place. The project follows the relocation of the facility last year and forms part of its ongoing development.
At the new site, AEMEnergy is using the same renewable energy solutions it delivers to customers worldwide. Once connected to the grid, the system will provide clean electricity for both intelligent manufacturing lines and office spaces. During periods of strong sunlight, the rooftop PV system generates power for on-site use, while the BESS adds flexibility to energy management, supports higher use of renewable energy, and provides backup power when needed. By combining solar generation with battery energy storage, the facility can manage energy use more efficiently and maintain stable operations under varying load conditions.
The project marks a further step toward completing Phases 1 and 2 of the center and reflects how BESS and on-site renewable energy are used in day-to-day industrial operations.
